Thank you for the recent posts on hear and the Captains site. I have been checking you out almost daily and I am very pleased to say that I have found lots of new artists with your help.

My Dad mentioned that you might be putting up some more Ryan Adam’s stuff which I have never heard like 48 Hours, Destroyer and Exile. Ryan is my favourite but I am banned from his blog because I’m nearly 12. I have seen some of the vids and I am hoping he will put them all out again as a collection soon.

He is joking about the death Metal thing, I think.

you are very welcome, young jack. 11 is about the time i started getting into cool stuff, but i was listening to bruce springsteen, rem, etc. seeing as you like ryan, you should definitely listen to bruce or dylan - both being influences on ryan. i will definitely be posting some ryan stuff in the coming weeks. i am actually going to be posting a really nice ryan and the cardinals concert on captains dead coming up within the next day or so. you are definitely headed in the right direction.

Dad has both singers on vynal so I will check them out. Thanks. He has a lot of uncool stuff like John Martyn, Jeff Buckly and Stealy Dan and we have arguments about who is better, Hives or the Pistols. Hives anyday.

jeff buckley, uncool? oh, no actually one of the most talented musicians to ever walk the earth, in my opinion. give it a few years and you may begin to see the light. i dont like the hives or pistols so i couldnt pick either, i would pick the clash.

Dad agrees with you about the Clash and he’s seen them live and I do like Medicine Show and Dial a hitman by Bad. My sister wants to always play Girls Aloud in the car so we put on Zep to anoy her. Jeff Buckly is okay but a bit girlie. Dad says I have to stop annoying you now and get my homework done. Bye

God, I was at this show, about a million years ago. Thanks for the memories.
